About the Hastings Middle School PTO

The Hastings Middle School PTO brings families, educators, and community members together to strengthen the student experience and support our school.

We are a volunteer-led organization, and every Hastings parent and guardian is welcome to participate.

Families can support the PTO by becoming members, volunteering, attending meetings, sharing ideas, or simply staying connected.

Our Mission

Our mission is to build a strong school community and provide resources, experiences, and opportunities that benefit Hastings students and educators.

What the PTO Supports

Membership donations, volunteer time, fundraising, and community partnerships allow us to:

Enhance Learning

We fund teacher mini-grants, author visits, and classroom enhancements that extend learning beyond the standard school budget.

Support Student Well-Being

We help make school traditions and community-building activities—such as Frozen Fridays—possible.

Expand Access

We provide need-based scholarships for sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade school trips so more students can participate.

Celebrate Our Educators

We organize staff-appreciation efforts and provide additional support for the people who serve Hastings students every day.

Meet the PTO Board

Our board members coordinate PTO programs, manage PTO resources, and help families connect with the school community.
