There are many ways to participate, whether you have a few minutes, a few hours, or an interest in taking on a larger role. No previous PTO experience is required, and volunteering does not have to mean making a year-long commitment.

Annual membership donations help fund classroom resources, student experiences, trip scholarships, and staff appreciation.
Membership is open to all Hastings families, with several contribution levels—including the option to choose a custom amount.

Volunteers help make Hastings a stronger, more connected school community.
Whether you can help once, occasionally, or throughout the year, your time and talents can make a meaningful difference for our students and educators. No previous PTO experience is needed, and many opportunities can be shared with a friend or adapted to fit your schedule.

Build relationships with local businesses and help coordinate sponsorship opportunities that support PTO programs.

Help run the concession stand during basketball season. This opportunity works especially well for a team of two or three people, so consider signing up with friends.

You do not need to select a leadership position to get involved. We also welcome parents and guardians who can volunteer occasionally, help with a particular event, or contribute a specific skill.
